In " Get in the Van", Gelatin kills Leafy with a large mallet, saying "Whew, that was close." In " Get Digging", he runs away from knives thrown by Leafy and equips Needle with acid spitballs to disintegrate Leafy. She later watches Gelatin and Flower enjoying their prizes. In " Chapter Complete", when Leafy is asked who she would root for, she picks Flower instead of Gelatin. Gelatin continues to speak between Firey and Leafy, so Leafy tells him he is not apart of the conversation, which makes Gelatin sad until Firey says he can be in it.
In " The Tweested Temple", when Leafy is upset that she caused Firey to not get the prize twice, Gelatin adds that both times were in episode 25, making Leafy shush him. In " Fashion For Your Face!", after they got off the train, he warns her about the purple box inside the warehouse that they should try to avoid. When Gelatin tries to say something about the sun, Leafy interrupts, saying she doesn't know what he'll say, annoying him. Gelatin doesn't listen, asking Leafy why she thought telling him that would slow him down. In " A Taste of Space", when Gelatin says that they should make sun angels, Leafy tells him that doing that will cause them to project on to earth. Leafy says that she thought he was going to and he replies "No! I said I was gonna stab-". Later, Gelatin asks who's going out to grab X. Leafy says by using their imaginations, but Gelatin abruptly cuts her off and leaves for her useless idea.
In " X Marks the Spot", during the contest, Gelatin asks Leafy if she has any ideas for getting X. In " SOS (Save Our Show)", Leafy thanks Flower and Gelatin for saving BFB. He asks if that would be weird, with Leafy saying it would in a different voice, to Gelatin's shock. Leafy tells him that different is sometimes good, but Gelatin doesn't agree and says that her being gone would be like if one's voice suddenly changed. Gelatin says that he wishes Lollipop was there since she'd probably know what to do. Later, Leafy enthusiastically pulls Gelatin to a door inside the World's Largest Oven. In " Uprooting Everything", when Teardrop wants to add Leafy to their alliance, Gelatin says it's a great idea. Gelatin does and happily allows her to use it. Leafy brushes off his comment and asks if he also has an earth facts book. He says he does and tells her that he wrote it and that it's filled with lies. She then asks if he has his sun facts book. Leafy answers that they need to find a way to get Profily away from Teardrop. In " The Hidden Contestant", Gelatin asks Leafy what her plan is for the contest. When Gelatin is overwhelmed about the box, she tries to calm him down and says that Teardrop already has what she needed. She gasps when Gelatin states that he heard Teardrop. Leafy asks Gelatin why he has the sweater that he hates so much, in which he responds why telling her what happened to Blocky.
After Leafy came up with an idea to use a clip to protect her team from falling off the train again, Gelatin calls her a life saver. During the ride on 200 year old steam train, Leafy is concerned when there's a loop-de-loop, Gelatin says it will be fine. Gelatin tells Leafy that it's not okay that Firey destroyed the train since they'd have to walk to Yellow Face's Warehouse. Gelatin quietly leans in and tells Leafy to look at what Flower did to Blocky, who is still flying in the air after getting kicked by her. Leafy recalls that Gelatin said that the sweaters gave him nightmares even though he was awake. In " Fashion For Your Face!", Gelatin proudly shows his sweater to Leafy. In " Who Stole Donut's Diary?", Leafy relaxes on a couch with Gelatin and Lollipop in their tower. In " Let's Raid The Warehouse", Gelatin gives Leafy her gift. In " Take the Tower", when Leafy is next in line on the friendship bracelet to face the other team, Gelatin encourages her to fight. The noise makes Leafy uncomfortable and she leaves. Gelatin says it's pretty rad and then demonstrates how the grass can squeak with his feet.
